ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Tuesday stated that the government should take main political parties’ heads into confidence on Taliban issue.

Khursheed Shah was of the opinion that it was high time to make a final decision over Taliban issue with the consensus of all major political parties’ high-ups.
“If the government prefer talks with Taliban, it has to give a time-frame and declare that what will be stance of the government if talks?”, he enquired.
Shah quoted the living example of Sri Lanka and suggested the government to learn a lesson from it.
He said that it was not enough to boycott the peace talks until Taliban do ceasefire adding that the nation had expectations with PML-N led government as the people had given them full mandate as compared to PPP government.
Khursheed criticized Imran Khan for giving an immature statement and said that he had thrust a dagger on the back of democratic and security forces.
