ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan Thursday said the rights of women, minorities and right to education to children must not be compromised in negotiations with Taliban.
Speaking on a point of order, he said that terrorism incidents must be stopped before holding dialogue with Taliban.
He criticized the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw for its failure to maintain peace in the province.
Expressing his apprehensions over threats being faced by the parliamentarians, he urged the government to provide security to the Parliamentarians.
He alleged that state has become inactive and fail to provide security to people. He said Kailash tribe is being threaten to change their religion, if that they will have to face severe consequences.
