MITHI: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday said that the bad time for the people of drought-hit Tharparkar district would end soon as federal and provincial governments, and Pakistan Army stood shoulder to shoulder with them.
“The relief measures of the federal and provincial governments, and the Pakistan Army will ease the situation and you will feel relieved,” he said addressing the people here at an Army Field Hospital.
The prime minister also distributed relief goods, including essential food stuff, among the people. He was accompanied by Chairperson Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid, and Corps Commander Karachi Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani.
Federal ministers Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi and Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi, General Secretary PPP Sindh Taj Haider, Imtiaz Shaikh, and PML- N leaders Shah Muhammad Shah, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Marvi Memon, Saleem Zia and Ismail Rahu were also present on the occasion.
