ISLAMABAD: Special court has issued a non-bailable warrant for Former President General (rtd.) Parvez Musharraf, applicable when he fails to appear in the court on March 31st, Aaj News reports.
The hearing against Musharraf was conducted by three-member-bench and Justice Faisal Arab.
It is pertinent to know that Justice Faisal Arab warned Musharraf’s Advocates that indictment orders could be given in regard to their client’s absence . He further mentioned that any suitable orders will be given, if he failed to appear within half an hour. After which, the court was called off for 30 minutes.
The court has advised the IG of Islamabad to follow orders issued by the court. The hearing for treason trial case was further postponed till March 31st.
