ISLAMABAD: Islamabad is observing mourning day regarding Islamabad District Court incident due to which 12 people were brutally killed and 30 other sustained injuries, whereas Advocates and lawyers from all over the country has boycotted from the courts, Aaj News reported.
A horrific incident which took place yesterday on Monday has risen a question for the providence of security for the lawyers and advocates and even the clients who are being interrogated in the court.
The lawyers and Advocates asked the Govt. officials to provide complete security and to arrest the militants on an immediate basis. On the other hand Pakistan Bar Council announced to observe mourning day today regarding the incident and also stated to boycott from all the cases pending in the court, whereas high alert security measures have been taken to avoid any mishap.
District and Session Judge Raja Jawad Abbas also visited the incident site today, whereas Advocates, Petitioners and Lawyers in Provincial High Court of Lahore and all over the country has boycotted from the cases and has demanded for the providence of complete security for them. They will also conduct a protest rallies regarding the incident and demands. According to the Advocates, Judges and lawyers, Govt. need to provide security to their citizens. Its their first and foremost duty.
Different protests will also be recorded in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Shiekhupura, Mianwali, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Muzaffarabad, Rajanpur and all over the province. Strong protests will be recorded in Sindh including Karachi and Punjab, whereas all the cases are being suspended by the lawyers in Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Baluchistan as well.
