ISLAMABAD: General Secretaries of Islamabad High Court Bar Association ((IHCBA) and District Bar Association, (DBA) on Monday demanded of probe in the bomb blasts at F-8 district courts in which at least 11 people, including Additional Session Judge Rafaqat Awan have been killed while 29 were injured.
Giving their reaction over the barbaric incident of firing and bomb blasts, General Secretary IHCBA Shireen Rehman termed the district administration responsible for the incidents which took several lives.
She maintained that it was the sole responsibility of the local administration and law enforcement agencies to ensure the protection of lives and property of every citizen.
Flaying the security arrangements at the F-8 courts, General Secretary DBA Naeem Gujjar stated that they have been demanding for removing the loop holes at the premises of courts but the administration turned deaf ears towards their demands.
Gujjar stated that the walk-through-gates at F-8 district courts were out of orders and scanners were not functioning at all which gave open ground to terrorists to carry out their nefarious designs.
They demanded of the government to ensure fool proof security arrangements at all the courts, especially at district and high court level in order to pervert such incidents in future and saving loss of precious lives.
