ISLAMABAD: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, has demanded a probe by an international agency into the recent killing of seven youth by Indian troops in Lolab area of Kupwara held Kashmir.
APHC leader and Senior Vice Chairman of JKPM, Mir Shahid Saleem said that Indian troops were notorious for the carrying out fake encounters and then branding the victims as foreign militants, KMS reported.
He strongly condemned the detention of Hurriyet leaders by Indian police to prevent them from protesting against the Loalab killings.
He deplored that India was suppressing the genuine aspirations of the Kashmiri people through use of brute force.
The APHC leader maintained that New Delhi would never succeed in subduing the Kashmiris’ liberation sentiment and they would take their struggle for securing their right to self-determination to its logical conclusion against all odds.
