KARACHI: Thousands of the Karachi University students faced problem as the KU drivers continued their strike on Friday due to the bad condition of KU buses (points), Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, drivers and conductors of the university refused to drive the points yesterday and went on a strike.
Their protest is only against the bad state of the KU buses. The condition of buses is really bad as they have turned into scrapes. The drivers said that any bad incident can occur due to this condition.
Moreover, they demanded removal of chairman transport, adding he is corrupt man.
“The buses of the university badly need to be repaired as these are very old and in bad shape”, they told media men.
It is pertinent to know that the aim of the KU points is to provide facility to the students especially for those students who belong to middle class family. As this service seems to be the most fascinating factor for the students, action must be needed against the complex situation of KU transport system.
