Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard the petition pertaining to missing person Mohammad Arif, summoned DG ISI in the court, Aaj News reported.
Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan asked why Intelligence Agencies were always accused for missing people?
Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan summoned DG ISI to appear before the court next week with an affidavit pertaining to the custody of the missing person.
During proceedings, missing person’s attorney informed the court that Mohammad Arif and three others were taking into ISI custody a few months ago from Sargodha. The attorney said two who had taken into custody with Arif had been released a few days later, while Arif and two others was still in ISI custody.
The advising counsel sought six months time to submit their reply on the behalf of Intelligence Agencies which was refused by the court.
In the end, the court rejected the plea and adjourned the hearing till next week.
