LARKHANA: Mourning day is being observed in different parts of Sindh, in regard to the killing of the leader of Jiye Sindh Quami Mahaz (JSQM), Maqsood Qureshi, whereas in some parts of the Sindh, all shops and business activities are completely shut down.
Earlier, JSQM leader, Maqsood Qureshi was found dead in his car along with one of his party member, regarding which Maqsood’s brother and Chairman of JSQM, Bashir Khan Qureshi announced to conduct a mourning day today all over Sindh.
According to the reports, all the districts in Sindh, including Larkhana, Shikarpur, Khairpur, Sukkur,Jamshoro and Shedad Kot are observing shutter down strike, whereas all the exams of private secondary and primary schools have been postponed.
Meanwhile, the party workers of JSQM are recording their protest on Jinnah-Abad Chowk.
On the other hand, eight districts of Khairpur, other districts of Shikarpur, Shehdad Kot and Sukkur are observing shutter down strike, where as all business activities and CNG stations have been closed down. Meanwhile, Ranger and the police have been deployed to avoid any mishap during the protests.
