LAHORE: Two more cases of Swine-flu were reported as Punjab witness a rise in the patients affected by the disease, Aaj News reported.
The patients were admitted in the Services Hospital Lahore two days back and are under treatment. The patients were identified as Madiha, 17 year old resident of Cantt and Saira, 30 year old resident of Gujranwala.
The number of patients in Punjab, suffering from this disease, have increased to 23 during the last two months.
The first case was reported from Multan, where 4 people have died so far as a result of this disease whereas in Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala and Lahore, the number of patients are continuously rising.
Health experts have advised precaution, especially for those people who keep pet animals at their homes whereas government hospitals still lacked para-medical staff and medicines despite directions from the Punjab Health Department to take preventive measures.
