NOWSHERA: Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattak said on Saturday that reshuffles in the provincial cabinet was made purely on performance, saying there was no allegation of corruption against his ministers and advisors.
“I challenge if anyone has any evidence of corruption against his ministers or advisors, he should bring it into his notice, he will make them an example for others”, he said this while talking to local reporters here.
He clarified that the reshuffle in the cabinet was made since all the ministers and advisors were new and had no experience but even then they run their departments efficiently.
He said the opponents should also look into their past when corruption and nepotism was rampant in every government department, and added that changes are being made in every sector to plug the hole of corruption.
A transparent and impartial system of accountability was being introduced wherein everyone would be made accountable for his misdeeds and wrong doings.
He denied the notion that popularity graph of the PTI was declining saying, and had it been true then the religious and political parties would not have formed alliance against our party for the upcoming local bodies elections.
The critics had nothing to play up against the PTI and just to keep themselves alive in the media they are making baseless accusations against Imran Khan and his government in the province.
The PTI has won all the bye-elections held after May general elections with thumping majority, adding that the coming local government elections would put last nail in the coffin of the politics of opponents.
About the ongoing peace talks, he said it has entered a crucial phase and it is part of manifesto of the PTI to get rid of this useless war. We want resolution of the problems through dialogues and we are satisfied with the progress made so far in this regard, he concluded.
