ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R, Farooq Ahmad Dar, has appealed to the international community to impress upon India to initiate a meaningful and result-oriented dialogue process to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
Farooq Ahmad Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Time has come when the world community should pressurize New Delhi to stop human rights violations and to initiate a result-oriented and serious dialogue process to resolve the Kashmir dispute,” KMS reported.
He deplored that India was using repressive measures to suppress the Kashmiris’ just liberation struggle.
The JKLF-R Chairman appreciated the recent report released by the US State Department regarding the human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.
“The report is an eye-opener for the entire world, as it describes the grim human rights situation in the territory. It describes the oppressive measures taken by New Delhi to muzzle the peaceful voices in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
