Karachi: The Government of Sindh announced a holiday on April 4 across the province in order to commemorate the 33rd death anniversary of the Pakistan Peoples Party founder leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, due to which all the matriculation examinations have been cancelled in the province, Aaj News reported on Thursday.
A notification issued said that all matriculation examinations scheduled on tomorrow have been cancelled; new dates will be announced later. Moreover, all offices working under the provincial government along with courts and educational institutions would remain closed on Friday.
The death anniversary of the former prime minister would be observed with great respect and solemnity.
To pay tribute to Bhutto for his services, seminars and workshops will also be held.
