LAHORE: Meera, in an interview said that the video scandal is a conspiracy against her, whereas she also said that she will not stand back, but she will fight for her respect.
Meera further said that she had already communicated with the details of this case with her lawyer, whereas she is heading off to Mumbai for 2 day visit, but she will attend the next hearing after coming from there.
It is pertinent to know that the Session Court of Lahore is hearing the case against Meera and her so-called husband Captain Naveed in regard to the heinous videos published via Internet, whereas the Session Court had already issued two warrants against both accused, who willingly missed their hearing.
The case was registered by a common citizen of this country, named Shabir on 24 January, 2014 in regard to the heinous videos published via Internet, whereas Shabir claimed that the videos are a propaganda against the country.
After hearing the arguments of the petitioner, the court issued orders for Meera and Captain Naveed to attend the next hearing of the case, whereas Meera and Captain Naveed, both willingly missed the hearing on which the court issued a warrant.
Both the accused were ordered to be present for the next hearing, but both again missed the hearing, on which the court issued the second arrest warrants, led by Judge Safdar Bhatti. On the other hand, the court also issued a warning notice against SHO Civil Line, whereas the court ordered SP Civil Line to submit a detailed report on 2nd April.
