ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjah on Tuesday said that government is making efforts to flush out the menace of terrorism and maintain peace in Karachi.
He said that some foreign elements are allegedly involved in anti-social activities.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that political parties are jointly making efforts to address the issues terrorism which confronted the people in Karachi areas.
He said that the political parties had identified the elements spreading unrest in the city.
He said there is need to take strict action against them to ensure peace in the city.
Replying to a question he said that Pakistan People’s Party and Mutahida Quomi Movement should take measures to resolve the issues of missing persons and terrorism.
Mohsin Ranjah said that FIR should be registered against anti-social elements.
To a question he said that blame game against any person without solid evidence is not fair.
Parliamentary Secretary said that every individual holds the rights of freedom of expression.
To another question he said that federal government will continue supporting the provincial governments in resolving the issues of the people.
