SUKKUR: Leader of Opposition in National Assembly (NA), Syed Khursheed Shah has said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) did not oppose any alliance of political parties against the government.
Talking to media men at local airport here on Friday last, he said every party had the right to form alliance of its choice and protest against what they think was wrong but it must be for the betterment of the nation.
Commenting on the recent split of the Khan Syed Sajna group from the central set-up of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Syed Khursheed Shah said the government should capitalise on the opportunity and improve the country’s law and order situation.
He was of the view that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s reservations over election results of four constituencies should be addressed.
He added that Sindh pays 50% more electricity bill than other provinces.
