SARGODHA: Deputy Head of Engineering of National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) America Cox Nagin has said the day is not far away when the man will land in Mars.
Addressing a ceremony held by the UoS, she said there was a big possibility of life on Mars, adding that more research will explore possibilities as the NASA was working on it.
Later, she examined research based educational and ongoing projects of varsity and reviewed various programmes of the Science Department.
Vice Chancellor UoS Prof Dr Muhammad Akram Choudhary briefed her about new research based achievements of the university.
The achievements of agricultural and medical scientists were also shared with the deputy head of NASA. Cox Nagin admired the working of Lincoln corner established by the US consulate general at the UoS library.
A large number of students were present on the occasion.
