KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday advised his followers to obey law and show patience during this hard time.
The MQM chief contacted party’s International Secretariat from London’s local hospital on phone and talked to members of Coordination Committee and other officials about his current situation, according to an MQM press release issued here on Wednesday.
The MQM chief said, “Nothing is new for me and I used to face such difficulties in the line of action to struggle for my people, but I never became discontented.”
Senior Deputy Convener MQM Coordination Committee Nadeem Nusrat, and members Tariq Mir, Muhammad Anwar, Babar Ghouri, Amir Khan, Wasey Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi, Qasim Ali Raza, MNA Khawaja Suhail Mansoor, MPA Dr Arshad Vohra, members Sindh Tanzeemi Committee Shabir Qaimkhani, officials International Secretariat and members of British Organising Committee were present on the occasion.
MQM officials and activists showed their happiness and raise slogans in favour of their party chief. Altaf Hussain also talked to his daughter Afza Altaf and informed her about his health condition and other issues.
