The former house, The Rockwood Estate in Surrey of the assassinated political leader, Benazir Bhutto which comes with its own airfield and hanger is to be sold worth £10 million.
The house was bought by Bhutto along with Asif Ali Zadari in 1995, whereas the house itself is a unique mansion which demonstrates luxury and ostentatious living.
There are total 30 rooms including 11 bedrooms, five bathrooms, a great hall, massive drawing room and 115-foot terrace which overlooks a pond in the ground, whereas the master bedroom, earlier occupied by the couple (Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari) was bomb-proof with a replica of local pub built in the basement.
The grounds of the house is around 350 acres of Surrey countryside near Godalming. There is also a wood-paneled study. They had spent around £120,000 on a figures and furnishing of the dining table and other valuable rooms. It also has separate farm, a pool house, two cottages and an airfield complete with hanger and windsock. There is a highly sophisticated air-conditioning system which was installed by them and it is thought to have cost £750,000 to install.
