NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has written a letter to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, in which PM expressed much satisfaction over the recent meeting with Modi, Indian media reports said.
Indian media said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed a good effort by inviting SAARC leaders in his swearing-in ceremony.
Nawaz wrote in the letter that they had a meaningful conversation in the meeting
PM Nawaz also shared that both nations are dependent on cooperative economic growth of India and Pakistan.
Sharif expressing his thanks for great hospitality shown during his recent visit to India said it augurs well for the normalisation of relations between the two countries.
His letter was delivered to Modi’s office by the Pakistan High Commission in India, which would surely played a good role in improving ties between India and Pakistan, analyst said.
