Undoubtedly, the Holy month of Ramadan brings with it a new wave of religious and social enthusiasm. Along with its other delights, a number of people arrange for and distribute free Iftaris on the roadsides, footpaths and in crowded markets. Even charitable organizations like Saylani, JDC, KKF and Edhi also play a remarkable role in Ramadan and their volunteers ensure that anyone who visits them is provided with food to break their day long fast.
Unlike the other months of the year, hardly you would find anyone go empty-stomached as these appetizing Iftaris arranged by hundreds of benevolent souls are there to overcome one’s hunger pangs and also spread a community and brother hood spirit.
Admittedly, Ramadan is a month that strengthens social and community bond of Muslims round the clock.
