International Airline Company, Saudi Airlines have annulled all their scheduled flights to land in Peshawar due to security threats which prevail within the entity.
The Civil Aviation Authority spokesman, Abid Ali revealed that Saudi Airlines on Saturday diverted their scheduled airline towards Islamabad which was supposed to land in Peshawar. He also revealed that there were more than three passengers who were suppose to land in Peshawar, but they were forced to land at Islamabad airport, due to prevailing security threats on Peshawar Airport.
The sources revealed that the particular decision of Saudi Airline has been taken after the firing incident, which took place earlier at Peshawar airport, due to which one woman was killed and three others were injured.
It is pertinent to know that currently every scheduled flight of Saudi Airline for Peshawar is being diverted towards Islamabad.
