As the pleasant sound of Azaan-e-Maghreb breaks and comforts the fasting souls waiting patiently to break the fast and enjoy the delightful meals blessed by Almighty Allah.
During this moment when Muslims all over begin their iftaar with ease and eat mouthful along with their families, few devoted noble hard workers are busy in serving food to people being away from their families throughout the Ramadan.
These are the benevolent workers working at Iftaar camps and dastarkhwans mainly at junctions, piazzas and cross roads of the city serving food to people passing by or stuck in traffic and are deprived of food to break their fast.
Although these camps are either arranged by different NGOs, organizations or groups but equal or more credit and appraisal goes to these volunteers who risk their lives engaging in serving people in heavy mobs and roads flooded with traffic.
The services they offer throughout Ramadan without any reward are commendable and exemplary. We being at homes and sitting in our lounges can only think of doing such great noble deeds but they are the gallant ones who come forward and offer their services.
They earn the true blessings of Ramadan and reward from Almighty Allah.
