LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain and Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Sajjad Ghani made a telephonic conversation on Friday evening in which they both exchanged their views over Karachi operation, Aaj News reported.
During this telephonic conversation, General Sajjad Ghani assured Altaf to make use of every possible step to manage the ongoing Karachi operation, whereas an important decision of setting up a six-member committee, consisting three MQM members and three LEA’s was taken to manage Karachi operation.
The discussion revealed that the committee will investigate all the complaints filed by the petitioners and will take an immediate action on them, whereas the committee will also keep a record in the form of a a detailed report regarding these complaints.
On this occasion, Altaf asked the Corps Commander to write a letter to General Raheel Sharif in regard to the approval of the six-member committee.
It is pertinent to know that earlier MQM Chief Altaf Hussain wrote a letter to the Army Chief General Raheel Shairf in regard to the judicial killings, unjustified murders and tortures of MQM workers and Urdu-speaking people.
