As many as six people killed and 36 other including women and children sustained injuries when a passenger coach overturned on National High way near Noshki town on Sunday.
According to police, a Kharan-bound passenger bus from Quetta was on its way as it turned turtle due to over speeding. As a result, six commuters died on the spot while 36 other including women and children received injuries.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to nearby hospital where the deceased have been identified as Muhammad Ibrahim, Abdul Khaliq, Muhammad Ismail, Haji Lal Jan and Muhammad Siddiq. The identity of one deceased could not be ascertained.
The injured were identified as Ghulam Mustafa, Abdul Razaq, Habibullah, Rehmatullah, Akramullah, Abdullah, Attaullah, Haji Waris, Muhammad Hayat, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Arif, Khalil Ahmad, Habibullah, Nisar Ahmad, Muhammd Qasim, Miran Shah, Abdul Jabbar and women Bibi Rabia, Bibi Rukhsana, Bibi Nazia, and Bibi Fatima.
Four of them injured were referred to Quetta based hospital in view of their critical condition. Police have registered a case.
