QUETTA: The leadership of Balochistan Union of Journalists and Quetta Press Club has announced observing 10-day mourn in protest against targeted killings of two journalists and a media worker in the provincial capital.

(PFUJ), Irfan Saeed, President of Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) and Raza-ur-Rehman, President Quetta Press Club announced to observe 10-day mourn against targeted killing of Irshad Mastoi, Bureau Chief of private news agency and General Secretary of BUJ, Abdul Rasool, reporter and Muhammad Younus, the account of the news agency, respectively.
“The journalists of Balochistan will observe 10-days mourn and wear black armbands,” they said.
They said that several journalists have been killed in attacks by armed
men in Balochistan, adding that but no single killer of these journalists could be arrested and brought to justice so far. They said that journalists have been discharging their duties in Balochistan in fully life risk environment where several militants organizations and pressure groups have been working.
