MIRPURKHAS: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas Monday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) part II annual examinations 2014.
Chairman BISE Mirpurkhas Fasih ud din Khan announced the results of Pre-engineering, Pre-Medical and Science General groups in a ceremony held here at the board office. More than 17 thousand students appeared in HSC exams while ratio of students passing exams in all the three groups was recorded at more than 80 percent.
According to result, Dil Veer Singh of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Digri secured first position with 967 marks in pre-engineering group, Faseeha Rani of government Ibn Rushd Girls College stood second while third position was attained by Khizar Hussain of City Grammer Higher Secondary School, Shahdadpur. Overall passing ratio of the group remained 80.28 percent.
In Pre-Medical group pass percentage was recorded 81.20. Top position in the group was secured by Neil Kanth of Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School Mirpurkhas by getting 965 marks, Aamna Khatoon of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Jhol claimed second position while Bhawesh Sagar of Shah Abdul Latif College Mirpurkhas stood third.
In Science General Group total 83 students appeared and pass percentage was recorded 89.15.
Chairman BISE Mirpurkhas presented certificates and bouquets to the position holder students. The ceremony was attended by officials of BISE Mirpurkhas, teachers, parents and students in large number.
