KARACHI: The business community has welcomed the Prime Minister’s announcement for the constitution of a judicial commission to probe alleged poll rigging.
They urged all the political forces to resolve their issues through reconciliation, as the country cannot afford political turmoil.
These views were expressed by business community’s leaders in their reaction over Prime Minister’s address to the nation. Talking to APP, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) President Abdullah Zaki said that political leaders should resolve their differences through talks.
While leading industrialist Aqeel Karim Dedhi said that the prevailing political situation in the country during the past few days has badly affected stock market.
He urged ruling and opposition parties to sit together and find solution to their issues through dialogue for the sake of economic development in the country.
Aqeel Karim Dedhi said the country is heading in the right direction and at this stage political chaos will not be helpful in any way.
In his remarks, Karachi Industrial Alliance’s President Mian Zahid Hussain said that the formation of judicial commission to probe election rigging is a good decision.
He said that after this announcement by the Prime Minister, the talk for long march and so called revolution should end and everyone should get together to celebrate Independence Day.
