LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq Wednesday asked the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and government to sit together for resolving the issues being faced by the country.
Talking to the media here, he said that the political leaders show tolerance for one another.
Sirajul Haq urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to give time frame for the judicial commission to complete probe into the rigging in the 2013 elections.
He asked the government to allow the PTI to hold long march in Federal Capital.
Sirajul Haq said the nationa should celebrate August 14 in a dignified and respectable manner and no such an impression should go to the world that would harm “our honour”.
Heads of all should attend the Independence Day function to show complete national unity and harmony, he wished.
