ISLAMABAD: A four-member government delegation made a first direct contact with Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and appreciated PAT’s willingness to engage in result oriented talks.
Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Ejazul Haq, Lt(R) Abdul Qadir Baloch and Haider Abbas Rizvi are members of the delegation. The delegation was informed by leadership of PAT leadership that first it need consultation with allies political parties to take them into confidence before starting formal dialogue process.
Khawaja Saad Rafique talking to media said that differences exist in politics and it does not mean that we are enemies of each other as we all are Pakistanis. He said dialogue will lead to solution of problems.
The minister said complaints of PAT regarding shortage of water and food access to the participants of “Dharna ” (sit-in) at Constitution Avenue have been addressed.
The government delegation will meet again at night once PAT complete consultation with its allies.
