ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Affairs Irfan Siddiqui Wednesday said that Imran Khan has inflexible attitude which is not good in democracy and politics.
Talking to PTV, he said that Imran Khan was not accepting the election tribunals and even High Court Judges.
On the other side Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has set an example of cooperation in the country’s history as he offered transparent investigation by a commission of the Supreme Court, Siddiqui added.
He said that opening of four constituencies was the basic demand by PTI chief Imran Khan which was fulfilled and the concerned officers had started investigation in this regard.
Irfan Siddiqui said that two leaders of PTI namely Jehangir Tareen and Abrar ul Haq had contacted the Supreme Court with allegations of rigging in their constituencies.
The apex court had advised them to contact the relevant constitutional forum for resolving the issue, adding if they did not get justice from there, then they could approach the court, he added.
He said because of Imran’s attitude, the government has no contact with PTI on the issue of long march, however there might be contact on administrative issues on the long march.
