LAHORE: Former law minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader, Rana Sanaullah has stated that he had commanded removal of encroachments but the incitement from the Minhajul Quran workers led to brutal clashes in Model Town, Aaj News reported.
According to the sources, Rana said that nobody was held responsible for the incident in the judicial commission’s report as it was also antithetical. He added that it could not be clearly proved that who killed whom.
The PML-N leader said that the government was ready to hold inquiry into the Model Town tragedy if Tahir ul Qadri wants it on merit.
According to Rana Sanaullah, Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief was not a well wisher of victim families and is using the tragedy for playing in politics.
