ISLAMABAD: Leaders of various political parties have appealed Imran khan and Dr Tahir ul Qadri to call off their sit-ins and urged that the issue should be resolved through political process.
Talking to APP Qaumi Watan Party chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said that Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri should call off their sit-ins and hold meaningful dialogue with the government.
Sherpao said that they should join hand with the government to
strengthen state institutions including Parliament and the Election Commission.
Jamiat Ulama e Islam (S) leader Maulana Zaheer ud Din Babar said that the lives of the people of twin cities have been badly affected due to the protest rally, adding that the economy has suffered huge losses due to their unconstitutional attitudes.
Central Information Secretary Awami National Party (ANP) Senator Zahid Khan condemned the use of derogatory remarks for Leader of the House, Opposition, and the Parliament.
Zahid Khan said that in dialogue process, the win-win situation should always be for the nation and the parliament. He said we are hopeful that success would be for the democratic system.
Senator Hilalur Rehman said that the democracy will flourish by strenthening the parliament. He said through sit-ins they have registered their protests and now they should move forward towards resolution of problems through dialogue.
Senator Yousaf Badini stressed Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri to let the dialogue process move forward in the ambit of law and constitution.
