ISLAMABAD: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Zia) Ejaz ul Haq Thursday said political parties, media, chambers and bar associations stood united against the unconstitutional demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
Appreciating the unanimous resolution adopted by National Assembly, rejecting the demand of Prime Minister’s resignation and expressing the resolve to uphold supremacy of Constituting,he said it seems that only two persons were at the opposite side.
He lauded the political acumen of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for allowing the marches’ entry into Constitution Avenue.
He regretted that the women and children had been sleeping under the open sky.
He also appreciated MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s role in the current risis.
He said it would have been better if the PTI government served the IDPs.
He said Pakistan Army was fighting against the terrorists for the safety abd protection masses.
Mutahidda Quomi Movement (MQM) member of Asif Hasnain said the political parties had further strengthened the parliament.He said Pakistan Army was successfully conducting operation against the terrorists.
He expressed the hope that outcome of the dialogue process would be positive.Nauman Islam Sheikh of Pakistan Peoples Party said Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri was making mockery of the Constitution and people of the country.
He said PPP was ready to give sacrifices for the democracy.
He urged government, PTI and PAT to resolve the issue through dialogue.
