ISLAMABAD: Supreme court of Pakistan has ordered Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri to change the place of protest from shahra-e-dastoor, whereas SC has advised the government that there should be no more barriers on Shahra-e-dastoor, Aaj news reported.
Justice Jawad S khawaja, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Saeed Khosa under the supremacy of Justice Nasir ul Mulk attended the hearing of the court on Friday.
Throughout the hearing Justice Saqib Nisar remarked that protest is their basic right, but they should also take care of law rules and regulations, besides this the govt should also notice that there should be no obstruction at shahra-e-dastoor.
“The door of SC opens in front of shahra-e-dastoor and due to the protest we have to come all the way to the next door”, said Justice Jawad. “We will neither tolerate any unconstitutional act nor any barriers at Shahra-e-dastoor, without any objection you can protest at any other place until their protest goes on”, SC replied.
Earlier than Imran Khan presented his statement in the supreme court in which he assured that their protest is peaceful and it will remain peaceful, they are not against the constitution neither they will move the march to another place.
