ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here at the Prime Minister House on Monday.
The Chief of Army Staff informed the Prime Minister about the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and the progress made so far by Pakistan’s armed forces in eliminating terrorists from the motherland.
The Prime Minister commended the armed forces for the sacrifices given by them in making Pakistan a safer country.
He also praised the efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces in providing prompt relief to the people affected by recent floods.
Comprehensive rehabilitation strategy for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency and regional situation in the wake of political changes in Afghanistan also came under discussion during the meeting.
