ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf will be celebrating “One Nation Day” and Pakistan Awami Tehreek “Inquilab Day” upon successful completion of one month of protest, Aaj News reported.
Yesterday, the protestors offered Namaz e Jumaa on Shahrah e Dastoor. This was the third Friday that the protestors spent on the street. PAT Chairman Doctor Tahir ul Qadri led the Friday prayers at about 3 pm.
Crowd was noticeable in barber shops at the temporary bazaar near the sit in and bathrooms opposite establishment division more than usual.
Sources report that the protestors themselves cleaned Shahrah e Dastoor, Parade Avenue and adjacent streets and placed the tents in an organized way.
PAT spokesman reported that the participants of the protests performed the tasks of cleaning the roads while CDA members did not participate.
He also told that about 1000 students have been registered in Inqilab School and that FSc and BSc classes have commenced in the school.
The spokesman added that pictorial exhibition has also been organized in Inqilab protest whereby artist students will display their talent by depicting the Inqilab March from beginning till the current situation of the protest.
