LAHORE: Punjab Emergency Service on Tuesday provided rescue services to the victims of total 400 road accidents in Punjab during the last 24 hours.
According to Rescue 1122, two persons were killed while 334 sustained serious injuries in these accidents. However, 173 drivers, 14 juvenile drivers, 71 pedestrians and 248 passengers were among the victims of these accidents.
The statistics show that 83 accidents were reported in the city which affected 84 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 42 accidents in Faisalabad with 53 victims and Multan at third with 31 RTAs and 29 victims.
About, 325 motorcycles, 39 rickshaws, 49 cars, 15 vans, five buses, 13 trucks and 58 other vehicles and slow moving carts were involved in the accidents.
