KARACHI: Chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has requested his party workers not to react to provocations in the larger interest of reconciliation, peace and tranquility in Karachi.
Bilawal, in a statement here Sunday, said the PPP would continue to promote politics of reconciliation and harmony.
He said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) should now end its politics of sit-ins.
He said the political parties should not adopt the practice of polarizing society as the sit-ins in Islamabad had already projected a negative image of the nation worldwide. “Let us rise above politics and make Pakistan prosperous and free of militancy and terrorism”, he said.
