Appreciating the role of NGOs, he said they were also playing a active role in this regard.
Besides responsibility of Afghan refugees, the SAFRON ministry was also taking care of IDPs as 1 mln were dislocated from North Waziristan in the Zarb-e-Azb .
“Though we are facilitating them, yet we cannot pay them the cost of leaving their homes, their routine lives and leaving occupations as they have financial problems and they were not comfortable,” Baloch said.
Responding to a question, the minister informed that IDPs were not going back in some areas in the first phase of the operation as there was a risk of using the local population by terrorists as humanized.
