A recent fusion of two like-minded designers ended up giving birth to an idea that rendered itself into a t-shirt brand called Stripteez. Owned by renowned graphic designers Moin Nazim of Karachi and Shahzaib Hussain of Peshawar.
Both of them started off with their Facebook Pages titled MoiNazim Graphics and Shahzaib Hussain ART, ran it for quite some time, build a huge fan base and finally decided to launch Stripteez on the 18th of November 2014.
The launch hype was created on Facebook through their own pages and their website went live in the evening of the launch day. Stripteez as they call it, is basically a pun, says Shahzaib. “I personally love puns and so named my brand on a pun that will intrigue many,” added Moin.
Stripteez has a number of categories based on different genres, and are and amalgamation of two different words. The most popular ones are Politeez, Funteez, Bollyteez, Learnteez, Patrioteez, Sarcasteez and Punteez. “The idea is to see illustrations of daily life happenings on the clothing we wear.
A person a known by their style but I believe if that style is expressed on a t-shirt, it would add much more value to the persona” said Shahzaib.
They say they’re different from other local t-shirt brands because their USP is concept. A lot of other brands are seen selling t-shirts having designs copied off the internet but with Stripteez, they claim to be thinkers, not copiers.
