ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairman of Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF), Syed Bashir Andrabi has condemned the continued arrest and raids on the house of party leaders by the Indian police and described it as frustration of the authorities.
Syed Bashir Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India was using every tactic to suppress the ongoing liberation movement but would never succeed in its sinister designs, KMS reported.
He said that Kashmir was a disputed territory and should be settled in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Syed Bashir Andrabi said that durable peace in the region was impossible without the resolution of Kashmir dispute. He urged India to give up its rigid stance and come forward to settle the dispute peacefully which was also in the interest of India and Pakistan besides the South Asian region.
