ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Wednesday severely condemned Israel’s aggression on Al Aqsa Mosque which happened to be the first Qibla of Muslims in the world.
Talking to media, he said Israel’s aggression on Al Aqsa Mosque was a clear cut message of hatred against Muslims and Islam therefore, the leaders of Muslim world and international human rights organizations should play their role against Israel’s aggression and take stern action against it.
Regarding regular appointment of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), he said that no contact had been made between him and the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif yet adding that he would hold negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the matter.
Khursheed Shah said that PTI chief Imran Khan was finding an excuse for retreat and suggested that government should hold meaningful dialogues with PTI.
He expressed the hope that if Imran Khan agrees for talks, all issues could be resolved including judicial commission.
Shah urged PTI to support PPP’s demand of making four years constitutional term of the government.
He said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was ally of federal government and it was its duty to console them.
