ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (APP): Chairperson National Standing Committee for Information and Broadcasting, Marvi Memon has said that Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI), should focus on resolving issues of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa areas.
She said that Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf is wasting time in arranging public gathering, protest demonstration and sit-ins, adding that proper planning should be made to address the problems of IDPs.
Talking to Pakistan Television channel, she said that PTI should make efforts to improve law and order, health, administration and control extortionist in KPK.
She said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif wanted coordination of the provinces so that good governance and development works could be made in all parts of the country.
She said that PTI chief’s blame game and immature politics besides protest demonstration and sit-ins had hit the economy of the country.
Marvi said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), government had taken steps to revive economy and streamline the system for all the institutions.
She said that PTI politics while sitting on containers would not help resolve the issues of the common man.
She said that Pakistan had launched operation Zarb-e-Azb to flush out terrorists and maintain peace in the country.
Replying to a question she said that the government is taking all important measures to ensure peace in the federal capital.
Marvi Memon said that PTI wanted to hold public gathering on November 30 which could create trouble for peaceful environment and business areas of the federal capital. She said that PTI had lost credibility and alignment which need to rectify for the benefit of the youth of this country.
Undemocratic language used by PTI chief had damaged the morale of youth, she added.
To another question she said that Parliament was the right forum to discuss issues and reforms. Marvi said that judicial commission and a committee had been formed to investigate the charges of rigging raised by PTI.
PTI chief Imran Khan should not seek short cut for becoming Prime Minister, she added.
Marvi Memon said that PTI cannot steal the heavy mandate of PML-N given by the people to run the government.
