LONDON: Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said that his party has no relation with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf as both the parties have different programs.
While addressing a party convention, the cleric said: “Those who are part of status quo and involved in corruption could not become our allies”.
He said that formation of Joint Investigation Team for investigation of Model Town tragedy was a futile practice.
The Punjab government had not arrested a single suspect in connection with the Model Town incident, Qadri added.
He said that both civilian and military governments had never helped common people in Pakistan. “We have never seen democracy in Pakistan for even a single day,” the PAT chief said.
