Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said Chairman Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan did not require permission from him but of the law for holding public meeting in Islamabad.
Talking to media here, he said he was not setting any conditions but there was a law for holding public meetings.
He said as an Interior Minister, it was his responsibility to ensure security of all the people and organizations in the city.
The minister said it was right of Imran Khan to hold public meetings but there was also right of other people and organizations and life of no citizen should be disturbed.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said all the issues could be resolved through dialogue and he again asked PTI to come to the negotiating table.
Nothing could be resolved through use of force, he added. To a question about ISIS, he clarified that ISIS was an organization of Arab world and it had no existence in Pakistan.
He said some political leaders were just propagating about ISIS which was unfair.
He said propagating presence of ISIS in Pakistan was not in the interest of the country.
He said wall chalking was not a difficult job and only few terrorist elements were using the word ISIS.
All those elements who were involved in extremism and terrorism should be eliminated.
