KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief, Altaf Hussain on Wednesday urged the Government to take appropriate action against the judicial killing of an MQM worker, who was arrested from the airport.
According to the local media sources, Altaf Hussain urged the govt mentioning a direct request to the Prime Minister, Army Chief and Interior Minister to set up an immediate inquiry over the murder of his party worker, identified as Sikandar Ali, who was earlier arrested from the airport.
Altaf demanded the authorities to register a case against those who are likely to be involved in the killings. He further mentioned that most of his party workers are being targeted in Karachi. These incidents are unacceptable and immediate appropriate actions should be taken against those who are the culprits.
