ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on Friday said that the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiation teams had evolved consensus on all issues except three clauses for promulgation of an ordinance for investigating rigging allegations in general election 2013.
Talking to the media after holding meeting with PTI negotiators, he said the government team had presented the draft ordinance to the PTI and reviewed its reservations clause by clause.
The remaining three clauses would be discussed in next meeting, he added.
PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi said they were not satisfied with the draft. He, however, said he would not underestimate the practical steps taken for the progress. “We will meet again with the same spirit tomorrow” to sort the remaining issues, he added.
