ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information,Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid here on Saturday said it was due to PML-N government’s democratic policy that PTI chief Imran Khan, who avoided confrontation with Sindh government in Karachi by remaining calm and conciliatory, was looking angry and confrontationist in Lahore.
In a statement, he said that allegations of Imran against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were baseless as he had been showing magnanimity and tolerated negative politics of PTI chief for the last six months.
Those who attacked Parliament House and the PTV building were now claiming that their demonstrations were peaceful, the minister said.
He said entire nation was witness to the PTI hooligans and ‘Imrani Gullus’ attacks on journalists.
He said that only those media persons were attacked whom Imran Khan abused in his speeches.
He said if Imran apologized for his false and baseless allegations against journalists, his party activists would also stop attacks on them.
